Welcome to Denahalaya, the centre for psycho-spiritual integration and renewal run by the Archdiocese of Changanacherry for imparting formation training to the ‘formators’ of priests and religious. With its spiritual atmosphere, reflective environment, and rejuvenating programmes, it invites you to share the noble goal of forming the formators, helping the helpers and caring for the caregivers.
Denahalaya is open to all persons for counselling, psychotherapy, and consultation. We help people with psychological problems to develop understanding about themselves and to make changes in their lives.
The aim of this programme is to give the learners a sound base in psychology and human behaviour through an indepth investigation into a broad range of psychological techniques and skills as applied to diverse settings.
The course deals with the issue of facilitating psycho-spiritual growth by healing and growth-oriented helping techniques of counselling and spiritual direction.
