This is a three week course specially designed for formators. It attempts at dealing with the question of how freedom to respond responsibly to one’s vocation is hampered by certain internal psychological blocks that can affect his or her motivation. The course deals with the issue of facilitating psycho-spiritual growth by healing and growth-oriented helping techniques of counselling and spiritual direction.
The course comprises ‘Models of Formation’, ‘Anthropology of Christian Vocation’, Psychopathology, Personality Styles’, ‘Relationship patterns’, ‘Diagnostic tests’, ‘Community Dynamics’ and ‘Counselling skills’. (Fees Rs. 12000)
Counselling is a science and art that needs to be mastered in a scientific way. Denahalayaoffers its expertise for those engaged in counselling ministry by organising a two week crash course on counselling. The course will cover the areas of “Theories of Counselling”, “Counselling Skills", REBT and Personal and Group Therapy. Fees Rs. 9000
Denahalayaaims at giving professional formation to those who aspire to engage in formatory roles such as formators, superiors, teachers, counsellors and therapists. The Master level course intends to equip them with an integrated vision of clinical psychology from a Christian formatory perspective. The students will simultaneously register for M.A. Psychology (specialization Clinical) (IGNOU) so that they can obtain a nationally recognised Post-graduate degree. Together with this course, they will follow 12 modules of courses based on Christian anthropology and formation. The students will be given personal Vocational Growth Sessions as well as clinical experience in different institutions. They will learn five different therapies like NLP, AMR, Gestalt, REBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. This course aims to develop the skills of diagnosis and psychotherapy mainly from a psychodynamic perspective.

CFC course is the special programme of Denahalayadesigned for those in facilitatory positions, and people who serve others – they may be formation personnel (religious & priestly formators), superiors, spiritual guides, or those in any helping position, those currently engaged in such work, or aspiring to do so. The course deals with the skills and theories aimed at making the participants in both assessment and accompaniment of the future students.
